MEA Family Picnic
Thank YoU to MEA asb
Below are this year's ASB students. These are the students directly responsible for all the fun events we had on campus; they held regular meetings, worked on planning, kept track of their budget, handled setup, managed events, and took care of cleanup. THANK YOU ASB!
**** STUDENT SPOTLIGHT ****
MEA 5th grader places in Speech Competition
This is Jody’s third year competing in the Speech Competition at the SD County Fair and his first year placing in the event. His three minute speech, which had to address the themes of home, heart, love, or courage, was about moving from NJ to CA. He modeled his speech after a writing piece that he did for Ms. Patterson’s class.
**** THE COOP SCOOP ****
Chicken Coop For The MEA Soul
Members of the chicken coop group have loved learning to care for chickens and to recruit and train junior members this year. They've learned to refresh food and water, tidy the place up, check nesting boxes, and interact with these talkative and sweet feathered friends each week. Sometimes they dig in to make enriching, muddy bug burrows! Thank you to all who've shown love to the chickens this year.
