Notes from the PTO
Welcome back to school Gator families! Break was nice and long, now it's time to get back into the swing of things for 2023. The Spring semester brings many opportunities for fun, learning, involvement, understanding and volunteering. We hope you'll participate in many of the events planned such as disABILITY, Science Night, our Spring Flower Sale, Earth Day and Field Day. Lots to do and we need all the hands we can get.
In addition to these one-time volunteer activities, we are actively looking to fill Board positions as well as many of our Committee roles. Now is the time to pick what you want as you'll have time to learn the ropes prior to the new PTO year which starts in July. We have many open positions, as some of our longtime members have 4th graders and will be departing for Intermediate school. If you have questions or are interested in learning more, please email gesptopres@gmail.com.

THANK YOU for your contribution to our Winter Service Project
While the students had fun at their Winter Celebration parties, the service project component is something that allows us to come together to give back to the community. We would also like to thank the GES Student Council and their sponsors for providing the feedback on the recipients for the service projects.
Special Thank You to local business, Roman & Leo
We would like to give a shout out and special thanks to Angie Castelli, owner of Roman & Leo, for her generous donation of 30 pajamas towards our Winter Service Project!
Drop Off & Pickup Car Rider Process
Follow the traffic pattern, use DOUBLE lanes, merge near the end of the circle, and stay in your car.
This will help to ensure a smooth flow, help to avoid a long single file line of cars and a tardy!

Easy Ways to Support GES!
Do you shop at Amazon or Kroger? If so, there is an easy way to donate a portion or percentage of your purchases to Geist Elementary. Although the percentage may seem small, the total amount back to GES adds up significantly the more people that register! These rewards programs do not cost anything to sign-up and are easy to register by using the following steps:
Amazon: Anytime you make a purchase on Amazon, go to Amazon Smile to shop at www.smile.amazon.com. Choose Geist Elementary PTO, Inc as your supporting organization and GES will receive 0.5% of your total purchases.
Kroger: Register your Kroger Plus Card at www.Kroger.com/account/enrollCommunityRewardsNow. Then, sign into your Kroger account and link your card to GES’s organization number which is GU130. Then, shop and swipe your Kroger Plus Card at the checkout and GES will earn cash! We had about 140 registered cards last quarter and GES earned over $4400 last year!
Thank you for registering and giving back through these programs!
