Counseling
Review of Career Paths, Career Clusters and watch career videos.
The School Counselor visited with my class this week
We talked about the following topic:
Applying career exploration and planning skills in the achievement of life career goals. Knowing where and how to obtain information about the world of work and post-secondary training/education. Watched career videos created by 5th grade students. We also talked about the MAP assessment
Please ask your student about the career paths/clusters and the videos.
Your student will be bringing home a portfolio, at the end of the year, showing you EVERYTHING we did.

WIN Time (What I Need)
RTI- RESPONSE TO INTERVENTION
We are fortunate enough to have time built in our school day for a reteach/enrich block. This will take place from 8:40-9:10 Monday through Thursdays. This is a time for me to pull students in small groups to work on reteaching skills or enriching (challenging) students. Your student may be working with me or another 3rd grade teacher. Please ensure your child is at school prior to 8:30 as instruction will begin promptly!
RTI will start Monday, September 17th.
Box Tops
Schofield Elementary PTO collects box tops. If you send the box tops to school, the PTO will do the rest. Each box top is worth $0.10. They add up quickly and all money collected goes directly to Schofield. Be on the lookout because they appear on all kinds of products. Thank you in advance for your help.
