The Walk for Life is Sunday beginning after the 10:30 a.m. Mass. The proceeds collected on Friday, April 12 for the monthly Dress Down Day will be donated to Walk for Life.
Just a reminder: Leadership Council is sponsoring a diaper drive, collecting diapers for Great Circle, an organization that works with families in need. The diaper drive will continue until Wed. April 17. Thank you to those who have already donated.
Grandparents Day will be celebrated on the afternoon of Friday, April 12. The day begins in the gym at 12:30 p.m. with a presentation of music and activities. Mass will be celebrated in the gym at 1:30. Parents who desire that their children leave school early with grandparents will need to sign a permission form. Permission slips were sent home last week. A separate signed permission slip is needed for each child.
Midquarter reports will be sent home with students (Grades 3-8) on Wednesday, April 17th.
Stations of the Cross On Wed. April 17th, the seventh grade class will reenact the stations in the gym at 2:00. All are invited to come to this prayer.
School Advisory Council (School Board). Todd Doerhoff and Theresa Schell are completing their terms of serving on the school board. Thank you for your dedicated service to the board. Two of our school parents expressed interest in serving: Cindy Markway and Eric Jaegers. Suzette Howell has been appointed to fill the vacancy of a one year term. The board welcomes these three new members. The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 9.
SPECIAL CALENDAR NOTE:
Mark your calendars now! The next Technology Dinner Auction is Saturday, April 4 2020! This fun and exciting event that happens every three years is the biggest fundraising event that takes place at our school. Money raised goes to support technology at the school and parish. Start gearing up…it is less than a year away!
The last day of school here at St. Stanislaus School is Thursday, May 16. The day will end with Mass celebrated at 10:00 a.m. All are invited to attend. Blair Oaks will be using May 16 as a snow make-up day therefore there will be morning bus service that day but no bus service at the end of our school day, approximately 11:00 a.m.
