Holiday Greetings EACS Parents & Guardians,
Students have been working hard in music to practice and prepare for our annual holiday music program. Below are a few ways you can help make this event a sensational success:
- Students should arrive in the lobby no later than 6:10 p.m. Please drop off your student at a music stand with their teacher’s name, so we can get ready for the program.
- Students will enter the sanctuary and sit together as a class, since they will need to be available quickly for their performances.
- Students are permitted to wear holiday shirts, slacks, dresses, skirts, and dress shoes since this is a holiday performance. They may also wear their uniform.
The performance will last approximately one hour. Students may go with their families immediately following the performance, and all are asked to leave the facility quickly so the church can be put back as it was before the performance.
Parents and family members are asked to wear masks at all times during the performance. EACS students will wear a mask before and after their performance on the stage. The students will be given a red lanyard as they are lined up in the hallway, which will be attached to their mask. When they are on the stage as performers, they will remove their mask just long enough for their performance and will return the mask to their face for the remainder of the show. This is a part of the ASD mandate for singing, as approved by the ASD Music Department. Performances will be 2-3 minutes each.
We hope you will make time in your schedule to attend this event and to bring the whole family to enjoy this start to our holiday season!
This performance is the highlight of our year. There will not be another all-school performance for this year. Please let Mrs. Harple know if you will be away or unable to attend the performance.
