The CCSD Speech-Language Pathology team works to prevent, assess, and treat a wide variety of speech, language, and social communication disorders. Please take a moment to show appreciation to the Speech-Language Pathologist(s) who work in your schools. We are better together!
Attention students interested in robotics: Chess and Community's PAWN Accelerator is a STEM program concentrating on coding, robotics, and engineering. Students (grades 8-12) will participate in a robots competition with guidance from UGA's chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers. Field trips will be scheduled to show students STEM careers/technology in action! The summer program (and transportation) is free. Click here to register. Gladiator Youth Sports Camps
The Clarke Central Athletic Department will offer Gladiator Youth Sports Camps this summer. Each sport camp will be staffed by Clarke Central High School athletic coaches and provide an opportunity for young athletes to develop fundamentals and skills in various sports. All camps will adhere to strict COVID guidelines to provide a safe camp environment. Email questions to gladiatoryouthsportscamps@gmail.com.
Experience UGA
Experience UGA is a partnership between the University of Georgia and the Clarke County School District to bring every Clarke County student to UGA's campus for an annual field trip. This year, all the trips and activities are virtual, which means they can be completed in the classroom or at home! Visit experienceugavirtual.uga.edu to see a ton of fun educational activities for every grade level from Pre-K through Eighth Grade!

Welcome New LSGT Members!
A warm welcome to the nearly 90 parents, guardians, community members, and CCSD teachers and staff that have been elected to serve on our 21 Local School Governance Teams, or LSGTs. Over the next 2 years, they will have a real voice in critical decisions about our schools as they work together to support student learning and well-being.

FREE Virtual Music & Ukulele Summer Camps at the ACC Library
FREE, one-week, virtual summer music and movement camps offered by the ACC Library. Available for students in grades K-3. Check out a take-home instrument kit or ukulele and participate in one week of 30-minute virtual music classes. Registration is limited to 10 students per session.
