2K17 - Heading Off to Colleges/Universities
The next step for our seniors is to complete their FAFSA applications.
There are also many scholarships available for our seniors so they should be working hard on those applications as well.

Over 60% of our class has applied to 3 or more colleges and acceptances are coming in Daily! FAFSA Night is Monday November 21, 2016 5-8pm!
The class council meets every Thursday in Rm 111 to discuss, upcoming events and initiatives and plan for prom and graduation.
Senior Dues are being collected daily. ALL Senior Dues must be paid in full by March 31, 2017.

Class of 2019 took the PSAT on October 19. The 10th graders demonstrated exemplary attendance, participation, and determination as the completed the their first step towards college readiness.
The Class of 2019 Student Advisory has met and have determined two major goals for second quarter: selecting their class T-shirt and completing 2 Krispy Kreme Donut fundraisers.

Class Officers:
Students can see Mr. Lewis for a packet to run for a position as a class officer. The positions that are open are President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Parliamentarian.
The Class of 2020 Class Council meets bi-weekly on 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month (Some dates may be subject to change)

(In May, students selected as 2020 students of the month become eligible to become their class' "Student of the Year." The Student of the Year will be awarded a $100 gift card.

Arts Integration

Students in the Art Department are busy with a variety of projects. This year we added Digital Photography to our list of courses and our students have been creating some really amazing images.
