“Protect me, Holy Spirit, that I may always be holy!” St. Augustine
The school faculty looks forward to visiting with our parents tonight at conferences. Please keep on schedule to keep the evening running smoothly. Thank you!
At the last school advisory council meeting, a revised Birthday Celebration policy was revised. It will go into effect at the beginning of the 2019-2020. This will be included in the handbook when it is revised for next school year. Basically the first sentence was deleted: Teachers are to designate one day a month to celebrate student birthdays of that month.
Revised policy: “Students may celebrate their birthdays in their classroom per the guidelines set by the classroom teacher. The classroom teacher decides which day and how the celebration will be conducted in the classroom. Students will no longer share treats outside the homeroom.”
