Friday, September 13: The deadline to switch Phys Ed classes is tomorrow, Friday, September 13. If you haven't yet declared a final PE option for the fall trimester, please see Mr. Maurovich or Mr. Bird for help with selection.

Wednesday, September 18: Please note there will be no breakfast service available in Coristine Hall due to set up for the Academic Awards Ceremony.
Wednesday, September 18: Senior School Academic Awards Ceremony: 9:30 - 10:45 am, Coristine Hall, Full school uniform, including school blazer. (Parents by invitation; please rsvp to Ms. Wong)
Need to Know
New Mailbag System: We are excited to announce our new format. Simply click on any part of the mailbag and it will open in a separate browser. This gives the school the ability to insert new features. If you scroll to the bottom, you will notice a font size selector, a high contrast mode to read in black and white and a full translator, capable of translating the update into many languages.
Wednesday, September 18: Annual Spirit Day, 3:30 - 5:30 pm! Join Selwyn families for games, food, entertainment. See Spirit Day program! Beaver Tails food truck on site selling their delicious pastries for $6. In support of Westmount Park Elementary, we are collecting school supplies as a donation at the entrance to the Spirit Day activities. Spirit Day tickets will be available at the tables located under the arches to the Guzzo Family Playground. Parents interested in volunteering can contact Maureen Powers

Parents and Students in Grade 10/11 are invited to learn more about U.S./Canadian Prep Schools. We will discuss what these schools offer and explain to procedures for applying.

All Senior School Students and Parents are invited to meet representatives from more than 15 Post-Secondary schools. This is a great place to begin the exploration of local CEGEPs, Grade 12 programs, and Canadian Boarding Schools.

Thursday, September 26: OPUS cards for Grades 7 to 11: 12 - 2:00 pm Rossy Agora: $15 in cash to cover card fee, and Proof of age (health insurance card, birth certificate, passport) Student ID card is NOT an accepted piece of ID. Your completed Photo OPUS card application form signed by parent for students 13 years and under.

Fall Gryphon Sale Tally – A huge thank you to all of you who donated so much as the amount of donations we received this year was off the charts! Thanks to your generosity and to all of you who joined us at the sale, we successfully raised $5705.00. What a great way to start off the school year by helping contribute to the Nancy Pitfield Endowment fund and by ensuring that very good uniform items were recycled into new homes.
