Pre Audition Meeting & Workshop

MEA THEATRE CO. CASTING CALL
Calling all students that are interested in participating (on-stage or behind-the-scenes) in this year's theatre production, Alice in Wonderland! Come to the pre-audition meeting and workshop this Thursday, presented by the show director, Ms. Erin Petersen.

Grades 6 thru 12: Please take all of your work to your supervising teacher first. After your supervising teacher reviews it, then take your subject work to each of your subject teachers.

Next week, the 18-20th, MEA will be having a Winter Wonderland Week! Tuesday is festive day so wear your Santa hats, reindeer antlers, Hanukkah hats, ugly sweaters, and whatever other fun holiday items you own. Wednesday is pajama day and Thursday is school/winter colors day (blue and white). ASB will also be providing some fun treats and activities during lunch throughout the week so be sure to participate!
Legoland
Sign up for our annual Legoland field trip by Friday, Dec. 21.
When: Friday, Feb. 8
What: Tickets include admission to both Legoland and the Sea Life aquarium
Cost: Tickets for children are $15, adults are $32 (unless you sign up in a 3:1 ratio with children. Then adults are $15)
Free parking passes are limited and will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis. Come sign up and pay (cash only) at the front office by 12/21. Yay!

See's Fundraiser Update
All candy orders are in the office now, as well as the prize box for those who have prizes to claim!
Hello All MEA families! Thank you so much to everyone who participated in the See’s fundraiser and donation drive! We are grateful to everyone who helped support our school!!
Breakfast/ice cream socials will be happening in January. A notice will go out through the Monday Message once we return from break.
Look for more activities and fun held here at MEA with your help through your participation in our fundraiser!

Toy and Gift Card Drive
The donation drive has been extended to Wednesday, December 12.
Mt. Everest Academy is having another toy and gift card drive this year for the San Diego Center for Children. The SD Center for Children provides services to children and teens struggling with mental, emotional and behavioral health challenges. You can help make their season brighter by giving a new unwrapped item from this Wish List.
We're collecting the new toys and gift cards until December 12. A donation bin is located in the front office. Thank you in advance to this beautiful MEA community!

If you are interested in offering an extracurricular class or workshop, please contact Principal Browne at cbrowne@sandi.net. We are looking for folks wanting to share talents in science, technology, robotics, and the arts! All required district volunteer paperwork must be submitted in order to lead a class.

- Eligible students are seniors with a 3.2 or higher GPA, who have demonstrated leadership skills, participation in extra-curricular activities, community and volunteer service and financial need.
