Focus on Feedback
Effective Feedback
Providing effective feedback has always been a priority for all teachers. With the successful introduction of our literacy marking policy, we are all keen to take the next step in ensuring students take appropriate action. Useful strategies range from "Green/Yellow Box", student action as a starter or "Triple Impact Marking". See the video below for an explanation of how Phil Robertson has implemented the "Yellow Box" strategy.

Technology Tips
Using Twitter in the classroom
If you are feeling adventurous, why not try Twitter to extend the learning from your classroom. Easy to use with only 140 characters or less. Easily accessible on smart phones or via the web. Students can interact, post questions and share ideas easily. It is easy to share the learning that is happening in your classroom. Twitter is an excellent source of teaching ideas and strategies.
