The Selwyn House Debate Team competed at the Quebec Debating Championship Tournament in both the Junior and Senior Categories. They have been preparing for this tournament for weeks, and at the end of the tournament, there were some excellent results. The team of Joseph Brydges and Jacob Bukhman placed 3rd in the Junior division. The team also qualifies for the Junior National Debating Competition that will be taking-place in Toronto in May. The team of Shen Hudon and Augusto Liberatore Morandi placed 7th and also qualified for the Junior Nationals. In the Senior category, Charles Seitz and Yusuf Afif placed 6th and qualified for the Senior National Debating Tournament in Calgary in April. Particular thanks go out to Max Fleurent and Adolfo de Motta Molina for coming to the tournament at the last minute in order round-out the numbers
