MEA Science Fair 1/30/20
MEA students did VERY well on their Science Projects for our 6th Annual Science Fair last week. There were 66 different and interesting topics in a collection of 16 possible categories that students could look into. Each one was unique and worth exploring. We admire the hard work they put in to getting the details right about what nature was doing in their experimental investigations. Solid work!
It was a pleasure to see the big turnout for our 6th Annual event.
We want to thank the MEA English Department for helping with the research writing requirement portion for many of the projects shown this year. Well done!
Many thanks to S.F. judges
A thank you note goes out to the MEA parents and community members below who helped judge our Science Fair on January 28, 2020. We respect the judgments you made in evaluating many of our projects in several categories.

California King Tides Project
King Tides will arrive in California on February 8 and 9
The California King Tides Project helps people visualize future sea level by observing the highest high tides of today. You can help by taking and sharing photos of the shoreline during King Tides to create a record of the changes to our coast from sea level rise.
Go to https://www.coastal.ca.gov/kingtides/ to learn what time and how high the King Tides will be near you, and how to participate by uploading your photos via a web browser or with a free app.
During King Tides you can head out on your own, with friends and family, or join an organized event. As always, please be cautious and respect the power of the ocean.
