Get Your MCHS Hoodie - Nov. 12
Tuesday is the deadline to purchase your MCHS hoodie. Cash or $25 check to MCHS should be turned in to Ms. Faison in Building 4, room 132.
Picture Retake Day - Nov. 15
Building 3, room 122 from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm.
Advising & Registration - until Nov. 17
Registration is upon us! It began on November 4th and will end on November 17th. Everyone should be advised and registered by this deadline. Please make sure you are checking your DTCC e-mail regularly. Instructions about advising and registration were e-mailed to all students from Mr. Evans on October 1st and November 1st.
Student Recruitment
It’s officially recruitment season! Mr. Evans will be visiting high schools and community events in order to promote Middle College to potential applicants. The application period will be January 6-31, 2020 for August 2020 admission. If you know a student who would be a good fit for Middle College, please direct them and their families to register for one of our Information Sessions at the link below. Help us spread the word so we can grow the Maverick Nation!

"Historic" Field Trip
Students played Townball (an ancient form of baseball) and learned Civil War marching drills. They also learned about the history of slavery and tobacco in Durham while visiting Stagville Plantation, Duke Homestead, Bennett House and Horton Grove Slave Quarters.

Train to Register Voters - Dec. 12
From 5:00 pm-6:00 pm, Riverside High School will host a training for students to register voters. The training will occur in the Media Center. All DPS students are invited to attend.
