Merry Christmas
Hello,
I cannot believe how fast the first semester of our year has gone! We have experienced field trips, classroom productions, science experiments, had special guests come to some of our rooms, had our writer’s celebration and a number of other great educational activities take place that have helped our kids grow academically, socially and emotionally.
“A special ‘thanks’ to each and every one of you. Thanks to you the parent, for providing us the opportunity to work with your children. We do not take this responsibility lightly. Thanks to you the staff member; no matter what your duties are, for making our school (St. Libory) a great place for kids. Thanks to Mr. Fisher; our school Superintendent, for guiding the Northwest School District in the right direction. Thanks to you the Board Member, for dedicating your time, effort and energy for all of us! You’ve each made another year for me as Principal here, an awesome experience!”
Please remember, the greatest gift in the world we can give our children - is OUR TIME! I hope over the break, you have that opportunity! I know I will cherish the minutes; hours and days, I get to spend with my wife and our two boys.
Sincerely,
Mike Herzberg
Your Lucky Principal

10 minute daily challenge!
I'm excited to have the next 13 days off, but at the same time I understand the importance of staying on top of my academic skills. Let's make plans to spend at least 10 minutes a day 'together' working on either my reading, writing or math skills. Below Mr. Herzberg is providing some really cool ways we can do this. Thanks for helping me continue my educational journey during the holiday break!
Love,
Your child!
