A message from Mr. Finkle!
Happy Second Day of Spring? It's hard to believe that after yesterday's storm that Spring has begun!
Please be reminded that the District adopted a school calendar for the 2017-2018 school year that utilizes Spring Recess as make up days in the event of school closure. Due to school closings the district will be open for classes on April 4, April 5 and April 6, 2018. Any day absent during the make-up days will follow the same rules and regulations as with any school day per New Jersey Administrative Code.
Due to having three snow days during the third grading period, we have moved the end of the third marking period to Friday, April 6, 2018. The three testing days will be March 27, 28, and 29.
In other calendar news... for the Class of 2019! Senior portraits have been scheduled with the photography company! The dates are August 20, 21, 22, 23, and 24. This is a departure from previous years where pictures were taken during school hours. We believe that having the portraits taken during the end of the summer will be less disruptive to our school day and student learning. The company will be in touch with each family to let them know when they have been scheduled for their sitting.
If you ever have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me at dfinkle@delranschoo ls.org or 856-461-6100 x3005.
Freshman-Sophomore Formal!
Teacher of the Year
Mr. Brzozowski is a consummate professional, working each day to inspire his students to achieve greatness. He is described by his students as an excellent teacher filled with enthusiasm and energy. He has the innate ability to motivate the unmotivated students through perseverance and having a never-give-up attitude. He truly believes and embodies the concept that every child can learn and he ensures that it occurs at a high level. Mr. Brzozowski is completely accessible to his students, nurturing and encouraging through every academic exercise. He also participates in many activities outside of the classroom, believing that being a part of student’s lives must extend beyond the four walls of the classroom.
Congratulations Mr. Brzozowski!!!!

Alumni Walk
Alumni Walk Update- We are paving the way to celebrate Bear Pride! The Advisors from the Class of 2017 are working on their inlay design. We are very hopeful this year’s Senior Class will buy a brick and cast their permanent legacy on DHS. It looks like we have established a new tradition of not only allowing a platform for individuals, but also each graduating class as a whole, to leave their mark. Please consider purchasing a brick in order to pave the entire walkway. The link for purchasing a brick is below. We would also like to acknowledge the work of Best Cut Lawn-care and Landscaping for installing our bricks. They have donated their time and talents to DHS and provided their work free of charge. Thanks you Phil Velo and Best Cut.
