Need to know
Grades 1 to 6 Term 1 Reports: Term 1 report cards will be sent home electronically on Monday(comments only) and on Tuesday(marks and comments) from registrar@selwyn.ca.
Dress for the weather: We will send the boys out for recess even through the snowy days of winter. Make sure your son has appropriate outerwear, including snow pants, boots, hats, mitts and neck warmers. Boys must have a pair of indoor-only school shoes to change into for class.
Community Engagement:
It’s time for the annual Shoes for School shoe drive, organized by Old Boy Rory Krnjevic ‘20. In this short video, Rory explains his initiative to provide shoes and boots to children in Montreal who need them. Until November 25, please bring in gently used running shoes, sports shoes, rain boots and winter boots you no longer need. Collection boxes are located on the 3rd floor. Please, no sandals, flip flops or plastic shoes. More information can be found on Rory’s website Shoes for Schools.

Founder's Day Cocktail Reception: Join us in celebrating Selwyn House School's 114th anniversary and our community on Thursday, November 24 from 6 to 9pm in Coristine Hall. This year we honour special guests: Speirs Medalist Carol Manning, Nancy Pitfield Volunteer Award recipient Leila Roiter, and Honorary Old Boys: Geoff Dowd, Matilde Codina and Barry Williams. See who's coming and RSVP by Monday, November 21st!
Gryphon Sale (previously-loved uniform items): Donations desperately needed for the next Gryphon Sale on January 11. Thank you to all those who have dropped off gently used uniform items over the Fall, but our sales inventory is at the lowest it has been in years, enough so that we may not be able to have the January sale. If you have any items that you were planning on donating, could you drop them off at the school in the next few weeks? The donation bins are located right inside the front doors of the school. Thank you again for your generosity.
