A community newsletter by Dr. Rapp
Upcoming info sessions, Board Appreciation Month & more!
LISD Families,
Welcome back to the second half of the 2022-23 school year!
January kicks-off a season of opportunity for families across our district. We have parent information sessions for many of our programs for every different grade level happening in the coming weeks as you begin to think about plans for next school year. Keep reading for dates and more information.
January is also School Board Recognition month, and a special time for us to shower our seven trustees with thanks and appreciation for all they do for our school district.
As elected community members, they spend countless hours throughout the year attending school events, supporting our students and staff, and advocating for public education. If you have an event at one of our campuses or facilities, there’s a good chance one of them will be in attendance. So please, take a minute to share your gratitude with them for everything they do to support our district.
I am incredibly grateful to serve in a district with such supportive students, staff, and families. Because of you, we are able to make every day a great day for kids.
Dr. Lori Rapp
Superintendent of Schools
