App & iPad Changes
One other issue related to this new app management is the purchasing of apps prior to changing to the new management system. While we can still purchase apps, we cannot send them out to our student devices as we presently manage them without burning an app license. Meaning if we need to purchase 30 copies of an app for student devices, then we will actually have to purchase 31 so we can put it on the student devices right now. While this is not an issue for free apps, it is an issue with paid apps. As a result, the Tech Office is refraining from purchasing any paid for apps until after we make the change over to the new management system. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
I know much of this may sound confusing. Basically, you need to know that we will be losing some apps that currently available on the student iPads. We will do everything in our power to retain those apps that are highly utilized in the classroom. Also, we will not be purchasing any new paid apps until after this transition is completed.
As always, if you have any questions about these upcoming changes, please do not hesitate to contact Gwen or Kris in the Tech Office.

Based on where you are sending your print jobs, how many pages you are printing and how much virtual money you have available in PaperCut will determine how much you can print.
How much virtual money do I have for printing?
Students will start with $2.00 for printing and receive an additional $1.00 each month. This money will rollover each month and accumulate up to $10. Please note that these are beginning balances and will be adjusted as the Tech Office gets a better idea of the printing needs for teachers, staff and students.
Can I add money to my PaperCut account by paying the office?
We realize that juniors and seniors will have different printing needs than elementary students. As stated earlier, we will be keeping an eye on student accounts in an effort to adjust the accounts accordingly.
