St. Stan Star
November 20, 2018
Thank you, Father, for having created us and given us to each other in the human family. Thank you for being with us in all our joys and sorrows, for your comfort in our sadness, your companionship in our loneliness. Thank you for yesterday, today, tomorrow and for the whole of our lives. Thank you for friends, for health and for grace. May we live this and every day conscious of all that has been given to us.
Spirit Day. Thank you for your generous spirit! Our Dress Down Day donations resulted in a couple of boxes of food items and $105! These, along with the collection at tonight’s scrimmage game, will be donated to the Samaritan Center.
Christmas Concert is coming! The students look forward to sharing their holiday spirit with you on Thursday, Dec. 6. There are two concerts: 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Dress code for the 1:30 performance is the school uniform. Dress code for the evening performance is tan pants (school pants will work) and white shirts (school shirts may be worn) and holiday accents: holiday scarves, Santa hats, ribbons, etc. Avoid those items that would be distracting or block the vision of students i.e. tall holiday hats, blinking lights, musical accents.
Students may leave with guests after the concert. Parents will need to sign a written permission form for the students to leave early. Look for these forms next week.
Thank you for your continued prayers for our staff members who are undergoing surgery or treatments.
On behalf of the faculty and staff here at St. Stanislaus School we wish you a blessed, joyous, and safe Thanksgiving.
