Holiday Staff Luncheon Volunteers
The McKinley PTA Hospitality Committee is coordinating a holiday luncheon for our teachers and staff on Thursday, December 19th. We are looking for volunteers to provide items for the luncheon. All items need to be dropped off in the teacher lounge by 10:00 a.m. on December 19th. Please label any dishes/utensils that you bring, and pick them up by the end of the next day.
ALSO, we are looking for donations of $5 gift card (location of your choice) to give to the teachers/staff as a "Holiday Bonus". :) If you are interested in donating gift cards, please drop them off in the office starting Dec. 16th but no later than 10:00 a.m. December 19th.

DECEMBER 16 LAST DAY FOR STUDENTS TO BRING ITEMS FOR WILLIS DADY SHELTER
Members of the 7th grade Leadership Team have organized a drive to collect items for the Willis Dady Shelter. This is a community wide drive so anyone (students, families, community members) can donate items. Deadline is December 16. Students should drop off items to their first period teacher.
Accepted items:
Hats, Gloves, Scarves, Travel Size Toiletries, Hand Warmers, Non-perishable snacks, Socks, Coats
Items will go towards “Blessing Bags” for the shelter. The surplus will be divided between the shelter and Grizzly Cove

THANK YOU for all the receipts donated last school year. We raised over $1800 for McKinley last year. Below is how to participate
Receipts can be dated April 1, 2019 through March 31, 2020
* Students can turn in receipts to the main office
* Send receipts electronically (instructions below)
For every $200 collected, $1 will be donated to McKinley
Money raised will be used for student activities
How to Send Receipts Electronically
To sign up for electronic receipts, go to https://www.hy-vee.com/perks/. Once you log in, it will bring you to your customer profile. Towards the bottom of the first column, it will ask you if you want to receive a digital receipt. Click yes.need to drop them off at the main office. E-mail your electronic Hy-Vee receipt to Mckhyvee@gmail.com.
