This month our class has been doing a lot of projects including writing, reading a great book and getting introduced to new things.
Corah's Letter From 91 Year Old Point Of View.
This month are class has been working on a letter from a 91 year old grandma in 2015 or a 9 year old girl from 1935. Our letters are about Black Sunday in 1935.
Louisa's Personal Narrative Project.
We have been working on a project for the past couple weeks, about an event that happened giving a person a character trait that the class can see if they can guess it.
Knucklehead
Knucklehead is a book our teacher is reading. We have been reading this for our read aloud Hybrid. We have to find 2 figurative language to put in our reading loges
Hybrid reading log
This month for our reading log we are reading Hybrid's. A Hybrid is a book that falls into different genres so they can't be classified as one genre. A Hybrid is sometimes based on problem solving, teamwork and friendship.
Liam's green folder for math, reading and writing.
Recently our class was introduced to a green folder. It holds our completed math and little bits of completed writing. our names and numbers our written on it to tell who's is who's for example this is Liam's.
Chinese New Year
Chinese New Year is a celebration that used to last about 15 days but it has been narrowed down to about 2 weeks. Our class is doing projects that involve Chinese New Year, for example we're writing a informational or story piece on Chinese New Year.
