Weekly Newsletter #7 - September 25, 2018
Thanks for the awesome attendance! 96%
Please know it is our GOAL to have EVERY student represented during Parent Teacher Conferences - we came very close! We had 129 of our 135 kids represented, which is 96%. We plan to contact those unable to attend early this week.
Communication is vital to success. If you ever have questions, comments or ideas please know we would like you to share them. We are all part of developing great kids and your attendance at conferences is one piece of the process.
THANKS! Mr. Herzberg
Thanks for all the great food!
On behalf of all our staff, we want to say 'thanks' to each and every one of you who provided a salad, dessert, main dish or side during PTC's last week. Our staff greatly appreciates the generosity and support during these days!
The weather is changing!!!
I just want to remind everyone we do try our very best to go outside whenever it is dry. From the sounds of it, cooler temperatures are on the way. It's time to dig out those hoodies and/or light jackets. Thanks for sending your child to school with the appropriate attire.
National Box Tops Week just ended!
For those who didn't know - National Box Tops week just ended and that is okay! We greatly appreciate your family taking the time to cut and send any box-tops you may have to school. Our plan is to cut and count box-tops at our October 10 PTO meeting! The more we have the better! We will send those in come November to receive our first check of the year!
Thanks for sending any you may have around the house to school prior to the 10th! Feel free to visit the site below for other ways to help our fundraising efforts!
Red Cross Blood Drive - THANK YOU!
Thanks to all those who stopped in and donated blood last week! Our goal was 22 units and we were able to donate 20 total units. Thanks for helping save a life!
6th - 8th Fieldtrip! - Plum Creek Reading Festival
This Friday all 6th-8th graders will be attending the Plum Creek Literacy Festival at Concordia College in Seward, NE on Friday, October 5, 2018. We will leave St. Libory at 7:30 a.m. and 7:50 a.m. from Chapman. We will return in time for our normal 3:15 dismissal. The day will be filled with outstanding authors, illustrators, and literacy experts!
Lunch Balance Reminder
Please help us out. It is very important that you keep your family lunch account balance above water. If you are not set up to receive emails or text messages when your account is low, please contact us and we will help get you this information. Students will not be allowed to get doubles of any kinds once their account gets to $0.00. Thanks for understanding.
