Cultivating Curiosity: Fostering an Inquiry-Driven Classroom with our Youngest Students
Facilitated by: John Thomas School of Discovery Faculty
Learn how a classroom driven by the new Missouri Science Standards can foster collaborative, creative, critical thinking readers, writers, and mathematicians in the 21st century. Participants will get ideas to use the excitement of Science to transform minds and thinking processes. They will learn ways to get students to become deeper thinkers and use effective questioning skills even at a young age. Participants will also get ideas on how to use technology as a tool to effectively communicate Science concepts and ways for students to voice their own learning. We will also cover ways to effectively conduct and organize experiments and labs in the younger grades. Get ready for excited students!
