School Improvement Team meets
The first meeting of our School Improvement Team ( SIT) was this week. The mission of the team, composed of parents, teachers and students, is to analyze our school's progress and set goals for the future. Currently our goals focus on strengthening technology, writing instruction innovations, increasing communication among shareholders, and fostering practices that increase students well being and happiness.
Lunch Accounts.... Help!!!
Compared to other schools, we are very liberal as far as snacking during the school day. After all, a hungry kid is not a happy kid! However, we can not allow kids to charge snacks if they are overdrawn on their lunch accounts. Of course, we will provide a full lunch, whether you have money in your pre-paid account or not. So parents, please keep your child's account up to date. Each student has been asked to check their accounts frequently to check their balance and help inform their parents if they need to add to the pre-paid account.
