Reading & Supply Lists 2021-22: Please find included in today’s mailbag the reading lists and school supply lists for next year. Should you misplace your copy, the lists will remain posted on our website.
Babar Books & Summer Reading: If you would like to support a local business, please consider purchasing your Grade 3 to 8 English Summer Reading Requirement books online from Babar Books. Students/Parents can use SELWYN as the Promo Code for free shipping on orders placed between May 27 and June 30.
Online School Supply Service: Once again this year, parents may purchase their son’s school supplies online through Editions Vaudreuil Inc. Please note that if you choose to use this service, a percentage of the total sales will be donated to Westmount Park School.
2021-22 Educational Services Contract and Emergency Contact & Medical Update forms:
Each year, parents are required to complete an Educational Services Contract which is legally required by the Quebec Ministry of Education. This contract confirms your son’s enrollment in the school, allows you to verify the information we have on file, and lets you choose your payment method for the 2021-2022 academic year. The online contract is accessible through OnCampus, and we ask that BOTH parents/ guardians login separately to complete it.
You will also find the Emergency Contact Form and Medical Update Form in OnCampus once you login. Only one parent/guardian is required to review and submit each form. Please email Ms. Kelli Poulin poulink@selwyn.ca if you have any questions.
Bilboquet offers a sweet deal for Contactivity: The Contactivity Centre, a Westmount seniors’ community organization, is searching for a new place to call home once pandemic restrictions lift and members are allowed to reconvene in person. In an effort to support Contactivity’s vision, Le Glacier Bilboquet in Westmount is generously offering all the profits they make this summer to the centre. Click here for more details.
Photo Contest Winners: The PVA would like to thank all the families who participated in the "A Moment of Joy" photo contest. They received about 30 entries, everything from children playing to ice cream cones. The photos were all so beautiful and creative. Two teachers from our art department, Lindsay Foran and Lana Ignjatovic judged the entries. They chose first, second and third placed winners. The winning photo will be framed and hung in the school, ready for next fall. The winners are as follows: First place: Thomas Backman (Grade 10 Student- Photo of dog on the lake beach): Second place: Nikola Reford (Mom of Oliver Delplace in Grade 10- Photo of Bridge and sunset): Third place: Thomas Plamondon (Grade 11 Student- Photo of dog on icy lake). There are prizes for the top three entries. Please contact amandajelowicki@hotmail.com to arrange pick up of your prizes.
