Tis the Season
Temperatures are starting to drop below freezing. We go outside (weather permitting, to 10 degrees below zero) for recess every day. Please, please, please start sending your student(s) to school with appropriate outerwear. This means:
- warm coat
- winter hat
- mittens or gloves
- scarves
- snow pants
- boots
It is always a good idea to mark your child’s name on all items. You would be surprised how many pairs of black snow pants we get!
School Pictures this Wednesday, Sept. 29th
Fall and Class Pictures
Have your students bring their best smiles and be on time! As with everything these days, we will do our best to make sure all the students are safely and healthily cared for during picture day. Students will wear their uniforms, as these are the pictures that will be used in the yearbook. All students will have their portraits taken, and if you want to fill out a paper order form and send it in, they will come home on Monday the 27th.
You can also go online to mylifetouch.com and use Picture Day ID: EVT22KZFB to preorder. If you preorder online, you don't need to send anything in with your student, unless you have specific requests for the photographer such as: smile with teeth, no glasses, likes corny jokes. Additionally, we will be taking a class picture for each class, and there is the option to purchase that as well.
The online Picture Day ID for Class pictures is: EVTXBBM86. There will be a paper order form that will come home on Monday, Sept. 27 as well. Masks will be worn as the pictures are set up, but will be removed when the picture is actually taken.
As we have done in the past, if you have younger siblings or would like to have a group shot of your family or friends, those will be able to happen from 8-8:30. We will be set up and ready in the gym. As a reminder, all those in the school building will need to wear masks, but the masks will be able to come off for the picture.
3 volunteers are needed to help with picture day. Volunteers will need to wear masks and be healthy. They will be needed from 8-12:30, with the possibility of finishing earlier. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Jennifer Bundy, 907-884-5008. If more than 3 people volunteer, it will be good to have a few backups in case someone ends up not being able to be there that day.
For any concerns or questions, please reach out to Jennifer Bundy, 907-884-5008.
Inquiring minds want to know... YES, "Black & White" day will be rescheduled. Stay tuned for the new date (yet to be determined).
