Welcome to Art!
What's Happening in September
September is all about the first Element of Art -- LINE. Explorations with all kinds of lines, imaginary lines, name designing, and line used as texture keep our Art Classes busy. During online learning, your child should be able to finish their art project during their art lesson Zoom time. Homework is never assigned, but doing art for pleasure is encouraged. Art should be a time to relax in your child's busy day. Here is some important information to begin our school year.
Zoom ID for Art is 773 865 3870

Art Class Expectations
- Check SeeSaw for the Zoom class activity before the meeting starts.
- Be on time for your Zoom class
- Come prepared: sit at a desk, have your art box ready, cup of water if painting is listed
- Stay muted until Mrs. Lipp instructs you to unmute
- Never draw on the shared whiteboard unless instructed
- SeeSaw assignments: Turn in PHOTOS of your work. Written Messages (like, I did it) will not be accepted.
- Do your best! Make sure artworks are finished. If I send it back, finish it and resubmit.
- Always relax and have fun. Being creative is hard if you're trying too hard.
