Honoring Holiday Traditions
As we end our first semester, we would like to acknowledge and celebrate our diverse student population during the upcoming holidays. Understanding diverse holiday celebrations is an important bridge to building connections with others who come from different backgrounds. The United States beautiful fabric is made-up of different cultures from around the world; therefore, it is important to celebrate our commonalities and respect our differences.
So, during this holiday season, we want to send well wishes to all and honor your traditions! Felix Navidad! Or as go abroad states, “Merry Christmas… Mazel Tov… or “Happy Holidays” Remember December is an all-encompassing term that covers many special days, from many different cultures”.
