From the Principal's desk
What a successful technology dinner auction we had! Many thanks are in order because it takes many, many people to make such an event successful. So thank you for your prayers, participation, donations, purchases, and other offerings of time, talent, and treasure. The Technology Dinner Auction Team is to be commended for its planning and organization of the event. Not only was it a productive night, but the cheerful atmosphere, the smiles and the laughter, once again highlighted the great community we have here at St. Stanislaus.
Below are a few words of appreciation from our own students:
- “Parents, thank you for setting up the auction and thank you for making our technology work.”….Kaylie
- “Thank you for taking time out of your day to decorate for the auction and to make money for new technology items.” Alaina
- “You are important to St. Stan School for buying all that stuff we made.” Cora
- “Thank you for your kindness and your time. God bless you all.” Savanah”
- “Thank you for donating money because now maybe the 3rd grade will get to use Chromebooks.” Carsyn
- “Thank you for the money. We are so excited about the extra recess!” Hayden
- “With you all donating, you will make learning awesome.” Bailey
- “I am so pumped for the new Chromebooks!” Lainey
- “My mom said it was a fun night because of the many people!” Jada
- “Thank you for supporting our school.” Jeremiah
- “Thanks for bringing honor and glory to our school!” Marta
- “Thanks for making it a great day in the kingdom of God.” Kally
This morning during our Sharpie Review we played “Last Class Standing.” Students and teachers had to answer questions about Marian feast days, the liturgical calendar and details about Holy Week. You might ask them what they learned. Kindergarten, First, and Second Grade students participated in a retreat this morning here at school. They traveled to different stations learning about Lent and Easter. You might ask them to explain what they did.
Grandparents Day will take place on Friday, April 28th and begin with a specially planned mass by our fifth grade and kindergarten classes. Following the mass, there will be refreshments and a special assembly for students and grandparents. Activities should be completed by 10:00 a.m. Students will be expected to stay the remainder of the day. There are some special activities planned for the students that afternoon.
School will be NOT be in session for Holy Thursday, April 13, and Good Friday, April 14.
School will NOT be in session the week of April 17-April 21.
Happy Easter! May the blessings of the Risen Jesus be with you and your family as you celebrate this most holy season.

Thank YOU!
The 2017 Technology Auction was a HUGE success. Saturday evening was one of great community in true Wardsville style, so thank you to all who attended or volunteered in any way. The contribution of your time, talent and treasure does not go unnoticed. There are still a few lose ends being reconciled, but is safe to say the event raised in excess of $77,000 for technology at our school.
