February is Love Your Library Month!
The Glocester Libraries remain open offering both in-person and curbside pickup options. The Glocester Manton Library is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Harmony Library is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. We ask our patrons that you restrict your time in the library to 15 minutes, wear a mask, and observe social distancing.
Although our in-person programs are suspended, we are offering many virtual programs for children as well as pick-up crafts. For adults and teens, you can participate in this year's Winter Reading Challenge!
We continue to offer other services including faxing your documents, making copies, and short 15-minute computer use. The Glocester Manton Library offers free notary services on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Harmony February Pickup Crafts

Age Level: All Ages
For the month of February, pick up a new weekly craft at the Harmony Library! With themes like Groundhog Day and Valentine’s Day, there will be something very different each week!
· February 2: Groundhog craft

· February 15: Black History/Diversity Appreciation craft
· February 22: Kindness Flower
Note: Crafts are on a first-come, first-served basis. Crafts at the two libraries are different.

Community Love Letters
February 1 – February 27, library hours, Glocester Manton LIbrary and Harmony Library
Age Level: All Ages
Show your support for our community by letting the hard workers in Glocester know how much we appreciate them! Examples would be your local grocer, your local banker, firefighters, police officers, teachers, etc. Letters can be hand written or computer generated. Drop off your letters at the Harmony Library or the Glocester Manton Library. You can also email them to nancysteereya@gmail.com. Note: All letters must include the name of the business you wish to receive your letter. Letters will be collected and given to the appropriate recipients. Letters must be received by Saturday, February 27.
Glocester Town Animal Shelter Story Time

The Glocester Libraries is pairing up with the Glocester Town Animal Shelter for a recorded story time each month! Join Miss Kat and a furry friend for a super cute story time. Each month, we will have an adoptable guest joining us for a fun recorded story time.

Children and teens of the Glocester Manton Library – are you trying to find something new to read for the month of February? Fill out our Lit Loot Google form to help us pick three books for you! Tell us your name, home library, reading level, and reading interests and we will pick three books for you to pick up along with some loot! Requests can be picked up at the Glocester Manton Library on the Monday after your request is made!

Adult Program
Glocester Libraries Winter Reading Challenge for Adults and Teens
January 4 – March 20, Harmony Library and Glocester Manton Library
If you love to read, we have the ultimate challenge for you! Read six books chosen from 20 different categories by March 20, and you will be entered into the grand prize raffle drawing. Audiobooks count equally as print books in the Reading Challenge. Pick up instructions at the libraries or read and print the brochure on our web page, glocesterlibraries.org.
