A little about me...
This is my ninth year at Hampton-Dumont High School. I graduated from East Carolina University in 2003 with a BS in Elementary Education. I taught 5th grade in Clayton, NC for a year, then 5th/6th grade for three years in Eldora, IA . My husband and I then traveled to Riverton, UT for a year while he was completing a veterinary internship and I taught 6th grade at a year round school. After the internship we returned to Hampton, where my husband graduated and four family members also teach. I have been teaching High School Special Education since joining the staff here at H-D. I love co-teaching and have been able to be a part of the math, science, and CTE departments to do this. I finished my Master's Degree in Special Education from Morningside College in 2011. I have two sons at home, Isaac (9) and William (6). I also have an exchange son, Bora, in Turkey that is a Junior and an exchange daughter, Nasra from Tanzania that is in medical school in China! I have coached volleyball and softball and played softball at East Carolina University. Mrs. Prantner is my hero. It's always a great day to be a Bulldog!
