Wednesday, November 6: GBS Boarding School Fair 6:00-8:30 pm Coristine Hall: Meet reps from 4 Canadian and 12 U.S. Prep Schools. If interested in exploring Prep School this is a great place to learn more about what different schools have to offer.
School photo proof packages, class photos and ID cards were distributed to students last week. Orders are due online. If your son was absent when the photos were taken, there will be a Photo Retake Day on Thursday, November 7. If your son wishes to have his photo retaken, please send the original proof package with him to school (if you received one) on November 7.
Students needing a re-take, should let Ms. Wong know and must bring in original photo proof as it indicates portrait ID code) Also Grade 11 Cap and Gown Grad photos from 9:30 - 11:30 am (Mac Gym). ** Please avoid scheduling outside appointments the morning of November 7 for Grade 11 grad photos as there is no retake at the school!
Friday, November 8, Senior Remembrance Day Assembly, 10 am Coristine Hall, full school uniform including school blazer. A reminder to please bring in $2 donation for a poppy, given out in first period. Proceeds go to the Royal Canadian Legion

Cadet football Gryphons slay Les Dragons 28-0 in their quarter-final game against Collège Sainte-Anne on Oct. 24. William Carvalho-Guertin 2023 and Vito Guzzo 2022 led the charge for the Gryphons with two touchdowns apiece. Ray Qiu 2022, Ramy Sirhan 2022 and Gabriel Cabelli 2023 played stout games on defence.
Come and cheer on the Cadet football team tomorrow afternoon (at Loyola), as they take on Loyola High School at 3:30 pm. A win puts the team in the league championship game next week!
Varsity Football Gryphons finish season with a win. On Oct 25, the Selwyn House Gryphons Varsity Football team finished their regular season with a win against the Collège Letendre Empereurs.
Congratulations to the Juvenile soccer team on their outstanding season. Despite losing a tight 3-1 championship game against Lester B. Pearson High School on Wednesday, the team played very well and can walk away with their heads held high. Well done, Gryphons!
