Google Hyperdocs- #54
What is a Google Hyperdoc?
Things you can do with a HyperDoc:
A true HyperDoc is much more than some links on a document.
- Creators deliberately choose web tools to give students opportunities to Engage, Explore, Explain, Apply, Share, Reflect, and Extend the learning.
- Digital collaboration is choreographed that gives every student a voice and a chance to be heard by their classmates.
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills can be developed through linked tasks.
- Students have an opportunity to create authentic digital artifacts to show what they know and connect with a wider audience.

Where should I start?
Second, think about how you want to set it up. If this is your first time to create one, you might want to start small. If you make a 4x4 table, that can be overwhelming for someone's first try. You might just want to start with a 3x3 or create a HyperSlide like I did here.
The next thing you want to think about are the tools that you're going to use. Your tools can range from anything: Padlet, Flipgrid, Desmos, AnswerGarden (feedback tool), Google Forms, etc. Just be aware that you might have to spend time creating, e.g., quiz on a Google Form, setting up and creating the Padlet. At the beginning, this could be time consuming, but once you get the hang of it, it will fly by.
How Do You Create One?
In Slides, I use the edit master to create my main display and outside of the master view, I created text boxes that would allow students to click on the hyperlinks. In Google Docs, I used a table and input information into each cell.
Resources
To credit your source, you need to look at the owner of the template. To do that, the owner might have listed their name at the bottom of the HyperDoc, or you can right click on the document ---> choose "view details" ----> and look to see who created the document.
