need to know
Student Initiative ~ Thank You: 5B’s Matthew Cheung organized a fundraiser last week to raise money for Jonah House, an orphanage in Taipei, Taiwan. With the help of the elementary school classes and his friends, Matthew was able to surpass his goal of $1000 and raised over $1500! Thank you to all those that supported this cause!
From Mr. Hannaford’s Desk: Please read this tribute to Carol Manning, who will be retiring at the end of this school year.
Important Dates 2020-21: The Important Dates for 2020-2021 are now here!
Re-enrollment form: The re-enrollment form is due Friday, February 28. To secure your son’s enrollment for the 2020-2021 academic year please check off the appropriate box on the re-enrollment form and return this form to Ms. D. Dragone in the Business Office. It is crucial for the school’s planning that we have accurate and complete re-registration figures. The re-enrollment fee secures your son’s place for next year.
Healthy March Break: We wish all our faculty and families a healthy and happy March Break. This is the time for the seasonal flu, as well as, the new Coronavirus. To keep healthy, we want to remind everyone to wash hands frequently, cover mouths when coughing or sneezing, and wipe down surfaces to help mitigate the spread of illness. Families or faculty who get sick upon their return from holiday are urged to stay home and contact their health care provider. The school will be cleaned over the break and anti-bacterial soap containers refilled. We should be ready for a healthy final term. Rest assured that we, along with the QAIS schools, are following the Quebec and Canadian protocols and guidelines for the safety of the whole Selwyn House community. Any new information will be communicated if the situation changes.
