A Few Words from the Principal
- 4:30 - 5:30 - Basketball exhibition
- 8th grade Pathways - Book talks in the Media Center. Book trailers available for viewing in the Media Center.
- 8th grade hallways - students positive notes , Social Studies projects, Math projects
- 7th grade Pathways – Escape rooms, ELA work on display
- 6th grade - Research projects on display
- Art for all grade levels will be posted in the commons and Exploratory hallway
- Sewing projects for 6th and 7th grade displayed in Exploratory hallway
- Engineering Tech – Projects demonstrated by students in classroom
Concessions will be available during this time for purchase.

DEADLINE TO PURCHASE A 2022-2023 YEARBOOK DEC. 15
The deadline to purchase a yearbook for the 2022-2023 School Year is Thursday, December 15th, 2022 The yearbook fee is $32.00. You can pay by check (payable to MTMS), cash or through Skyward Family Access (efunds).
Please go into Skyward Family Access and select the Fee Management Tab to see if you have already paid or still need to purchase a yearbook.

Band Concert Information
The band concert is Wednesday, December 14th in the MVHS Performing Arts Center.
The 6th & 7th grade concert starts at 6:00. Students need to be at MVHS by 5:30 to warm-up and tune.
The 8th grade will join the MVHS band at 7:00.
Students need to be at MVHS by 6:30 to warm-up and tune.
Dress for the performances is the new black band t-shirt, black pants, and the darkest shoes and socks possible.
Publications needs your help -

From the Nurse
Illness
- If you have a child who is sick, we ask for your support by keeping them at home. Students and staff must be fever-free for 24 hours without the use of medication, and free of vomiting and/or diarrhea for 24 hours before returning to school.
· If your student is diagnosed with Influenza (“the Flu”) or with COVID, they must remain at home for 5 days from the onset of illness, with return on day 6.
- If you have questions about your student’s health, please contact your school nurse. Additional information regarding health and wellness is available on the district website.
- Remind your child of important preventative measures for any illness, such as coughing into the sleeve, frequently washing hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds and getting plenty of rest and fluids.

Attendance
When reporting your student absent due to illness please leave a brief description of symptoms such as stomach issues, headache, fever, strep, flu. It helps to track illnesses in our building and reporting to health department if needed.
