Dear Eagleville Families,
Can you Believe it’s Already March? February was a short month, but look what we accomplished:
- Parent/Teacher Conferences-February 16
- Daily morning announcements included learning about famous African Americans
- Mrs. Beam’s first grade class Penguin Party
- George Washington Breakfast-hosted by second grade last week
- Celebrated Read Across America all this week
Did you check out our Art Show last week? It was awesome! Be sure to come to our Science Fair on March 8. This month, we will be learning about many famous women-Bring on March Madness!
Kindergarten Registration…is for ALL schools at Woodland Elementary School during the week of March 12. Visit www.methacton.org and download the kindergarten packet. For registration appointments, call 610.489.5000, ext. 15034.
PSSA SPRING TESTING COMING SOON!
- Grade 3 & 4: Reading April 9-11
- Grade 3 & 4: Math April 16-17
- Grade 4: Science April 23 & 24
Students Test in AM so please ensure they get a good night’s rest & eat breakfast. Attendance is extremely important during the testing period-I strongly encourage the children to be present daily during the testing window.
The Methacton School District Calendar has been revised now that the teachers ratified their contract. The last day of school is Thursday, June 7 with early dismissals that week & Fun Day scheduled for June 4.
Remember your License! For the safety of our children, all visitors MUST sign into Lobby Guard with their driver's license. If you do not have a license, we CANNOT allow you to enter the school. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated to ensure a safe school environment for our students.
NEW! Student Drop off Table in the Vestibule-For your convenience, drop off student lunches, instruments, book bags etc., at the Student Drop-Off Table. For dropping off purposes, no need to sign into Lobby Guard. Make sure all items are clearly labeled.

As the Weather Temperatures Fluctuate, make certain your child is dressed appropriately. Students will be playing outside more & socializing with their peers at recess, lunch & in the classroom. We are looking for ways to help students earn extra points for their class by adhering to our playground expectations. Help us reinforce the importance of being safe, respectful & responsible on the playground. As always, thank you for all of your support!
