Itsy Bitsy Writers Workshop
Itsy Bitsy Writers would like to thank all those who attended our creative writing workshop at Mt. Everest Academy on October 12! It was a pleasure to connect with families and express our creativity together through story writing! If you missed this workshop, the same workshop will be offered at the Ray and Joan Kroc center in November. For more information, please contact kara@itsybitsywriters.com or call 619-335-5122.
Pure Water Facility Tour
AP Environmental Science students toured the Pure Water Facility on October 5th. This facility recycles treated wastewater into drinking water! At the end of the tour, students were able to try the water, which tastes better than bottled water!
The Pure Water program will recycle millions of gallons of water when it is finished in 2022, helping San Diego reduce the need to import expensive water from other parts of the country and helping to reduce our water footprint.

Thank you to Emma R. for sending in these photos!
