It's Time to Return your Library Books - Don't Wait!
Throughout the school year our books seem to find unique new homes. It's time to send your child on a scavenger hunt for those missing library books!
Here are some of the unique places that library books have been found in the past!
- Under your bed, between your bed and the wall, at the foot of the bed.
- Under all couches and chairs, on the coffee table.
- Under a pile of magazines or newspapers, on your bookshelves.
- On the floor of your closet, in your underwear drawer (or wherever you shove stuff when mom says to clean your room.)
- In a sibling's room in the Christmas decorations.
- At the doctor or dentist office, at your friend's house.
So get busy on the family scavenger hunt! All those need to be delivered to their original Learning Commons home by Friday, May 24th.

PTA PKE Field Day - Friday, May 17th
PKE Field Day 2019 will be a Circus themed fun-filled afternoon featuring games, relay races, obstacle courses and so much more. We need help with setting up, running games and clean up.
Games start at 12:30 p.m. You would need to be in the PTA room at 11:45 a.m. to find your station and practice running your game. The games will end around 2:45 p.m. at which point the kids will meet for 5th grade tug-of-war. During this time we will clean up the events.
Field Day is a really fun end of year event. The kids really look forward to it!! We need volunteers to make this day happen for our kids. Lunch will be provided for all day volunteers. *Please click on the link below to volunteer.
