Mrs. Dahr's class enjoyed a friendly game of Kahoot to review compound and complex sentences.
High School
Students in Advanced Quantitative Reasoning are using Google Sheets to create frequency tables, compute descriptive statistics, and create histograms about real world data.
Houston
Mrs. Velasquez' students learned a lot about natural disasters. Students chose three natural disasters and wrote about them and their effects using the tech tool, Book Creator.
Lamar
Mrs. Browning knew it was important that her PreK students have easy access to the read aloud books during their reading time. So, she created QR codes that allows her students to follow along with just a click while listening to their favorite story.
Travis
Students in Mrs. Trainers class learned about Jane Long and used Adobe Spark Video to create a slideshow about her. Students then watched each others to gather more information to use for a prompt in writing. Check out a student's video by clicking here.

Students in Ms. Cottongame's class are collaboratively working together and competing with one another using Quizizz as a test review.
Junior High
Students in Mrs. Jordan's class are learning about personal media use with Mrs. Henderson. It's so important that we teach our students Digital Citizenship.

Houston
Students in Mrs. Scarborough's class used Book Creator to create a book about the different types of communities they learned- urban, suburban, and rural.
High School
Students in Mrs. Sessum's English class created a Google Site to discuss the play Macbeth among their peers.

I will strive to assist teachers in appropriately incorporating and implementing technology in their classroom by being available for one-on-one meetings, PLCs, staff meetings, and providing professional development that meets our teacher's technology needs.
