THANK YOU!
Thank you to all who "GOT UP and GAVE" during the North Texas Giving Day! We raised $18,052! Thank you for helping us bridge the tuition gap!
A message from our principal
In our prayer service this morning, we prayed for Mrs. Cook’s (PK3) mother, Mrs. Clark’s (5th) daughter, and Ethan Gilbert, HFCS Class of 2015. Please join in asking Jesus for His healing power for each of them.
We talked about forgiveness (Matthew 18) and Jesus telling Peter to forgive his brother seventy-seven times. Jesus then told us a parable about forgiveness and the cost of not forgiving.
For Christians, forgiveness is not optional. It is something we must do. Well, I supposed we don’t HAVE to forgive. Only if we don’t want God to forgive us. But if we want God to forgive us, then we MUST forgive others. And not just with lip service, but from the heart.
Father, have mercy on us, as we have mercy on others. Give us a heart filled with love and forgiveness. AMEN. (G. Lloyd)
Peace in Christ,
Dr. John Shreve

Our class room parents are busy working and planning to make this a wonderful Fall Festival!

An order form for play passes and tickets was sent home last week in Monday folder and via email. Please return your order form to the front office Thursday, September 21, by 8 a.m. Play passes and tickets will be sent home with students on Thursday. T-shirt orders will be available on Friday at Parent/Teacher conferences.
Donations for BINGO and Cake Walk
DONATE! DONATE! Donations for BINGO are running a little low. Let's rally together this week so we have great prizes to give away on Sunday! We need your help and are asking that each family please donate the following items:
- 2 baked goods for the Cake Walk
- 2 Bingo Items (suggestions: gift cards, holiday decor, gift baskets, toys, homemade items, picture frames, NFL / College items, household goods, sporting goods and apparel) Remember everyone likes to play BINGO. We need prizes for ALL age groups.
Volunteers will be in carline on Wednesday and Thursday, September 20 and 21, collecting donations. Items can be dropped off in the morning or afternoon to these volunteers. If you miss the volunteers in the carline, please turn in bingo donations to the boxes on the library stage by Friday, September 22. Baked goods for the Cake Walk can be turned in on Friday, September 22 through Sunday, September 24 in the school library. There will also be a table in the gathering space of the church to drop off baked goods on Saturday and Sunday.
Tents Needed
We need tents for the booths at Fall Festival! If you have an extra tent that can be used on Sunday, please contact Lisa Phillips at mslisa2902@gmail.com.
Arts & Crafts Vendor Forms
The Fall Festival celebration will once again feature vendor booths. This is a chance to sell one-of-a-kind handcrafted items or promote your home business that sells goods. The cost per booth is $25. All forms for craft booths are due today by 3 p.m. See the office for more details.
Thank you for your generosity! We could not make this day a success without the help of our wonderful students and parents! We hope to see everyone on Sunday, September 24, at the Holy Family Fall Festival!
