The Echo Smartpen records audio and notes and is interactable with smartphone technology. It helps students with disabilities to not fall behind in classes, it also can enhance and heighten communication, learning, social relationships, and participation in classrooms.
Google Glass
Google Glass is beginning to influence the medical field as the wearable tech is being used to help students see from the perspective of a professional which allows the students to gain a greater understanding on how to properly perform a surgery and/or other medical procedures.
The voice recognition, allows you to command the glasses to do simple tasks, such as take a picture, or search the web.

- 74% of students could see using wearable technology for recording a class lectures or taking notes.
- Cons of wearable technology include: cost, support from companies, and consumer knowledge of how to use the product.
