News from Nurse Baker
The CDC recently changed the recommended distance to prevent coronavirus spread to be at least 3 feet between students. Other preventive measures like hand hygiene, cohorting, cleaning measures, etc. still need to be in place. At this time, St. Stanislaus School has updated their reopening policy to allow students in classrooms to not wear masks while in seat if at least 3 feet can be established between students. If a grade is unable to establish at least 3 feet of distance between students, and they are in grades 1-8, they will still be required to mask in the classroom. Masks will still be required for all grades to enter and exit the school, during transitions, and during classes/activities that require students to face each other. The updated policy can be found on St. Stanislaus School's website.
