Spring Is Here: Please remember to send your son in with splash pants, rain boots or outdoor shoes. Even on nice days the boys will find the muddiest spots to play in.
Kindergarten to Grade 5 Breakfast Meeting: This meeting is an opportunity for parents to meet with the administration to discuss the transition to the next school year. See Upcoming Events for particulars.
Grade 6 Transition to Middle School(aka Grade 6 Breakfast Meeting): Grade 6 parents (not students) are invited to take this opportunity to meet Mr. Lajoie and learn more about the Middle School. See Upcoming Events for particulars.
Elementary School Play Choir: The K to grade 3 choir for the Elementary School Play will begin on Tuesday, April 4. The choir is an optional activity during the school day. Rehearsals will take place every Tuesday during the regular lunch recess. Choir members will be working on songs that they will sing as part of Newsies Jr, this year’s Elementary School Play. There will be two performances, on the morning and evening of Friday, May 12. Participants will be required to attend, and also be required to purchase costume elements for the show. If your son is interested in participating please email Ms. Manal (manalm@selwyn.ca) by March 31 to register.
Known & Loved Gala News: To view the invitation, register for the event or for more information, please see here.
Gryphon Sale Donations Needed: As spring approaches and you want to make room in your closets, please drop off any gently used uniform items in the bins right at the front of the school. Receiving the donations well in advance of the sale is very helpful and much appreciated. Save the date, the next Gryphon Sale is on May 17 from 7:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the Rossy Agora.
Personalize this year’s Yearbook!: Yearbook Recognition Ads are a great way for families to commemorate student achievements and important milestones personalized with your own sentimental message and a cherished photo, or photo collage. It’s quick, it’s easy, and it’ll last forever. To purchase your ad online, follow these instructions. All ad orders MUST be placed by May 13, 2023. Please do not contact or send materials to the school. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Kelli Poulin.
