Thank you for following these rules for costumes:
•Costumes should not be scary or depict gangs or horror characters.
•No masks of any kind.
•Face paint may be used sparingly but must not completely cover a student’s face.
Students must be recognizable or we will ask them to remove their face paint.
•Costumes may not demean any race, religion, nationality, disability or gender.
•No weapons - even fake ones.
•Students must wear shoes to school.
•Tops must cover midriff and back.
•No costume accessories normally prohibited in school (e.g. skate boards, roller skates, noise makers, fake weapons, balloons, animals, etc.)
•Color and glitter sprays may be used at home but not at school. Cans and containers should be left at home.
On Wednesday, October 31 at 8:40 am, we will begin our Costume Parade. The parade includes students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade. Students will parade through the primary wing then through the lobby, down the main hall, and through the upper-grade classrooms. We will finish in the cafeteria. Parents/Guardians who wish to watch the parade: Please check in at the office, get a visitor’s pass, then stand in the lobby along the east-side windows. Students will be entering the lobby from the primary wing doors.
Lost and Found
We will have all of the Lost and Found items out on the lobby tables during conferences next week. Please take a look! Also, please write your student's name on coats, lunch boxes, water bottles, sweatshirts - anything they can set down and misplace. We return items that are labeled. Thanks for your help!
