Ok so I'm a little late time wise but weather wise Autumn is just starting.

We're well into the signs and colours of Autumn now and we have some new Autumn books in the library if you would like them. 🌰 🍂
Witches Walk
Witches Walk cards have been sent to the classes. I'd really appreciate it if you could get then out early the week. please ensure you write the children's name and card number on each.

Arts Week
- You will get the Art Exhibition pages also this week.
- The borders must be painted black and a white label attached to the bottom right hand corner. All pictures must be put up in the Big Hall on Wednesday 25th October.
Fire Safety Week
Dublin Fire Brigade is delighted to announce that we are having a Primary School Fire safety Poster Competition in support of National Fire Safety Week, which is running from Monday the 9th of October to Tuesday the 17th of October.
This year’s main theme is ‘Safer Together.’
Dublin Fire Brigade are continually seeking novel and imaginative ways to communicate our fire safety message to the public and we hope that you can support our campaign to highlight fire safety and the use of smoke alarms in the home. This year our campaign will include our #red4 ready, we hope that you will help Dublin Fire Brigade promote fire safety awareness with your children.
Please see attached Posters for details of our competition. We look forward to seeing the entries.
We respectfully ask that you would encourage your teachers to include fire safety in their classroom at some stage during Fire Safety Week and encourage the children to learn about fire safety, so they can bring this important message home. We look forward to seeing their fire safety inspired art.
