Chad covers 495,755 square miles of central Africa and is surrounded by mountains on all sides but west. Chad has 3 different climatic regions: the dry hot Sahara in the north,
a fertile Savannah, and a flat center.
Culture
Clothes - Women in Chad wear ankle-length wraparound cloth tucked in at the side. Married women add a second one as an apron. Men wear second hand western clothing such as long-sleeved tunic.
Religion - 53% of Chad is Muslim, 20% are catholic, and 7% are animist.
Food - Breakfast is optional and usually left overs of bread and tea. Lunch is the main meal, and dinner is at sundown. The men eat meat and the good parts are served to guests.
