Colleagues' Corner-Idea Share "Ready Binders" by Dorothea Dingle
With the implementation of the "push in" "pull out" model for utilizing Intervention Specialists, Dorothea is utilizing student binders housed in their regular education classrooms. The binders contain work that the students can access based on their needs. For example, they have sight words that the students are working on (on index cards placed in a baggie). The students are able to go get "their work" when they have completed their class work or that they can review with her while she is in that regular ed classroom. Having the binders located in the classroom makes for easy and quick access to the things they are working on in one-on-one instruction time or small group instruction time at their level.
Thanks for sharing this quick and easy way to have materials ready for them Dorothea!
