Mission Groups

Thank You to the 2019 Mission Groups!

July was just as spectacular with mission groups as June was! We had the pleasure of working with Community Presbyterian Church of Ben Avon from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Trinity United Presbyterian Church from Uniontown, Pennsylvania, and First Congregational UCC from St. Joseph, Michigan. Common Ground Church Community's Youth Group put in another day of service here as well. We are thankful for all the hard-working folks who come here to help this mission grow! We are also thankful for Canfield Presbyterian Church for handling all the logistics, planning, and housing for the mission trips. We love working with the staff and volunteers of Canfield Pres! Now we are looking forward to 2020!

Saying Goodbye to GG Workers

Unbelievably, the end of summer is almost here. The start of the new school year is in sight. We are not entirely sure how that happened so fast! This time of year brings excitement with the harvest getting better, the Canfield Fair starting, and getting ready for various school classes to return. But, it also brings the sadness of saying farewell to members of our GG family. We have already said goodbye to Cameron, as he started football practice. This is our last day with Darius before he heads off to college. Soon, we will have to say goodbye to Bradly as well as our volunteer, Quinn. We are very lucky that Trevor and our volunteers Tucker and Morgan will be staying with us as we head into fall! We appreciate all the hard work that all of these young men put in this summer and we have had loads of fun working with them! Hopefully some (or all!!!) will return to us next year!
