Attendance Reminders
Bucket Drumming Club
The KHES Bucket Drumming Club will be performing at the KISD Retired Teachers Luncheon on Feb. 3rd. Permission forms have been sent home and must be returned to Mrs. Masters for your child to attend the performance.
The KISD School Walk for Diabetes will be held on April 2, 2016
In preparation for this, the P.E. dept is starting a fundraiser selling Paper Diabetic Shoes. The sale will start Monday Feb 2 and “RUN” through Friday, February 26th. Each shoe requires a $1.00 donation.
This year, the teacher whose class (per grade level) with the most shoes purchased will be allowed the opportunity to put a pie in the face of: Mrs. Eriksen, Mrs. Evans, Mr. Smith, Mrs. Shipp or Nurse Rhonda. Names will be drawn for this event. Also, the student, per grade level, who donates the most money towards buying paper shoes will be given the opportunity to “pie” their choice of the above mentioned names.
We thank you in advance for all of your help and support.
Where in the world has Mrs. Eriksen been?
I finally returned to school on Wednesday of this week. Seeing the students and the staff truly brightened my day.
How Do You Make a Teacher Smile? CHOCOLATE!
Thank you to for the donations so far!! We've seen many, many smiles!!
